What information are you collecting and how are you collecting it?
Every computer connected to the Internet is given a domain name and a set of numbers. These numbers serve as that computer’s "Internet Protocol" or IP address. When a visitor requests a page from the Vespa website, our Web servers automatically recognize that visitor’s domain name and IP address. The domain name and IP address reveal nothing personal about you other than the IP address from which you have accessed our site. We use this information to examine our traffic in aggregate. We do not collect and evaluate this information for specific individuals. Our Web servers do not automatically record e-mail addresses of the visitors.
Vespa offers access to some services that require personal data capture. We may use your registration contact information to send notification to you of Vespa products/services and promotions by e-mail and/or postal mail.
When you register for a contest or other promotion, we may ask for your name, address, and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.
When you use co-branded services, or those provided by a third party, your information may be passed to the co-brand or third party provider and their use of your information is subject to their applicable privacy policies.
When you make a purchase from Vespa, various personal information will be obtained including your name, physical address and email address. Vespa may include your email address in certain electronic communications of new products/ services and promotions we think you might be interested in.
Why we collect personal information.

In addition, we use your personal information to keep you up to date on the latest products, services, promotions, and other information we think you’d like to hear about. From time to time, we may also use your personal information to contact you to participate in a market research survey, so that we can gauge customer satisfaction and develop better products.
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. We restrict access to your personally identifying information to employees who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services.
